| Students in the Digital Media/Web Productions program follow
a project-based curriculum designed to introduce them to design,
video, animation, special effects, imaging, audio, and film
production aspects of digital media; as well as website design
and development, and 3D worlds. Industry standard software
tools are used to assist the student in completing projects.
The program cluster consists of three strands of learning:
Digital Design, Website Design and Development, and 3D and
Animation. The skills attained become the foundation for producing
graphic designs for the web, multimedia, and 3D and animation
for various industries. Students will develop team management,
communication, time management, and problem solving skills.
The Digital Media/Web Productions program will prepare students
for various careers in the digital media/website design industries.
Advanced students will have the opportunity to receive the
CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster Designer) certification. |
