HOSA is a student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.


	2010 Regional Results
Students in the Health Occupations classes at MPATC competed at the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Regional Leadership Conference at Ferris State University in February. Emily Little (SHS), Danielle McPherson (SHS), and Emma Wheaton (MPHS) competed in Creative Problem Solving and came away with a gold medal. Teams competing in this event are required to complete a written test in the subject area and are given a problem to solve with only 30 minutes to prepare for their presentation to the judges. Emily, Danielle, and Emma have qualified to compete in the same event at the state level at Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City, MI April 15-17.
