Students at the MPATC have the opportunity to experience on
the job training experiences opportunities:
Cooperative Education
(Co-op)
The Co-op program
is designed for juniors and seniors enrolled in one of the
MPATC programs. This is an opportunity for students to practice
classroom skills in a paid, part-time job. Co-op Coordinators
work with employers to develop a mutually supervised training
program.
Full-Part Time
Employment
The Placement Coordinator
provides part-time and full-time employment referrals for
current and graduate MPATC program completers.
Career Exploration
The Career Information
Center provides valuable career resources. Students are able
to research a variety of careers that match their interests
and abilities. The Career Information Center is open to all
students in grades 6-12, as well as adults in Gratiot and
Isabella counties. A number of resources are available, such
as:
